Great pool, sunshine, ocean views, family time, and just enough of that resort feeling to make you forget you’re only a couple of hours from LA. It’s just as perfect for a weekend with the family or for a couples getaway. I mean if your own travel advisor takes her family there it’s gotta be good. And I ain’t mad about it. ☀️🌴

Not exactly the kind of text you want to get. We switched into problem-solving mode. I shared the right contacts and resources, they got the process moving, and the passport showed up just in time. That’s the side of this job people don’t always see. Sure, I book incredible hotels and plan amazing trips. But sometimes my job is helping someone navigate the unexpected before it turns into a canceled vacation. Being a travel advisor means we are always learnin Being a travel advisor means we are always learning. Today I met with tourism boards and DMCs from all over the world. DMCs are the local destination partners we work with behind the scenes, and honestly, they are a huge part of why working with a travel advisor matters. They are the connections that turn a trip into a story you keep telling. A good trip has the sights, the hotel, the dinners, the pretty views. But the BEST trips have something else. A person you met.
A meal you still compare everything to.
A street you wandered down for no real reason. That is the stuff that sticks. Not because it was flashy or over-the-top. 
Because it felt real. 
Because for a second, you were not just visiting a place. You were in it. And that is what I am always looking for when I plan travel. Not another version of the same trip everyone else is taking. It’s the parts you will talk about at dinner.
The parts your kids will remember differently as they get older.
