About Wendy
From Gowns to getaways
I’m Wendy, founder of Wild Wander Destinations and the travel designer behind the scenes. I’ve worked in luxury bridal salons, five-star hotels, and even on Rodeo Drive. My first job? Little Caesars. I learned absolutely nothing about luxury, but I made a great pizza.
For years, I helped brides plan the biggest day of their lives. From custom fittings and runways in NYC to trunk shows all over the world, from Kleinfeld to London. And yes, I know Randy. I was deep in the world of once-in-a-lifetime moments. I learned how to listen, really listen, to what someone wanted, often before they could say it out loud. And now, I get to create a different kind of magic, memories that unfold on a beach, a balcony, a boat, or halfway up a mountain.
I built Wild Wander Destinations because I wanted travel to feel more personal. Less transactional, more connected. I wanted to help people skip the stress, avoid the noise, and get to the part of travel that actually matters, the feeling of being fully present somewhere beautiful. Whether it’s a honeymoon in Italy, a solo escape to reset, a group trip that finally comes together, or a family getaway with room to breathe, I’m here to make it seamless and unforgettable.
